Dance Festival in Cornellà
Dance and body expression took over a street in Cornellà de Llobregat to celebrate International Dance Day 2022 and Artistalia didn't miss it!
"Hay un poco de locura en el baile que a todo el mundo hace mucho bien" This quote from Edwin Denby is the summary of this production.
The phone rings and they ask us to fill a city street with activities, fun, family, related to dance and that are not dance classes.
You know how we like challenges. We immediately got our gears going.
The creative team began to draw the proposal, our artistic team went looking for materials to create a spectacular scenography recreating urban space in a familiar context while the production team contacted our suppliers.
The result has been the creation of 6 spaces related to different dance disciplines: ballet, Latin rhythms, world dances (country, Bollywood, belly dance, Hawaiian dance), urban dances in a TikTok space and a psychomotor space for children.
In this adventure they have been accompanied by four professionals from the world of dance in order to encourage families to get to know and enjoy this performing art in a very different way.
