At Artistalia we like projects that are born from an idea and end up becoming a unique experience.
The Garden of Dreams is a good example of our way of understanding event production: listening to the client, understanding the local context and building a proposal fully adapted to the reality of each municipality.
The goal was to show our new Christmas show, far from conventional formats, capable of awakening the imagination of young and old. But, above all, we wanted the city to feel like it was theirs.
For this reason, we integrated the characters typical of the local Christmas imagination, involved schools, entities and collaborators from the territory and designed a story that gave coherence to all the actions programmed over five weeks.

The work began long before the first day of assembly with the creation of the show, developing creative concepts, space designs, scripts, audiovisual content and specific technical solutions.
Subsequently, we coordinated artistic teams, suppliers, production staff and all the agents involved to ensure that every detail fit within the whole.

The production required the creation of its own scenographic elements, unique structures, interactive installations and personalized audiovisual content. Each decision was made with a clear objective: to build an experience coherent with the city's identity and the audience's expectations.

As with any large project, unexpected challenges arose. Changes in approach, space constraints, and adverse weather conditions forced us to rethink solutions on the fly.
It is precisely at these moments that the value of a multidisciplinary team emerges, capable of improvising, adapting and finding alternatives without losing sight of the final goal.

During this project of 6 days of assembly and 5 days of disassembly, on different dates, more than 30 professionals participated, including assemblers, riggers, lighting and sound technicians. An audiovisual technician produced the 15 videos that we projected.
The event lasted 35 days and involved 20 professional artists including actors and other disciplines. To make it more inclusive and participatory, we hired 18 young people from the city to bring the different characters of the Garden of Dreams to life. More than 38 performances were performed throughout the process. 3 councilors, a sound and lighting technician, a technical coordinator, an artistic coordinator and a cultural manager were in charge of managing everything.

The result was much more than a Christmas decoration: a living, participatory and transformative experience that demonstrates that behind each event there is a great deal of pre-production, production, coordination and execution work. Because creating memorable experiences is not just about setting up a space; it is about understanding a territory, adding talent and turning an idea into a reality that connects with people.
