Night of the Museums 2025

The Esplugues de Llobregat Museums gave us a very special task, light up the Night of the Museums 2025.

Three museistic spaces, each one with its own personality under the same common thread: fire and light. As always, we accepted this challenge!

The first space to be illuminated was La Rajoleta Ceramics Museum.

Here we wanted to enhance the remains of the Pujol i Bausis factory and create a frame of light in the museum space that houses the Arab ovens that baked the tiles that today still decorate the walls of the most famous modernist houses, but also of the humblest houses.

The second museum to be illuminated was Can Tinturé, the tower where the mayor of Esplugues lived at the beginning of the 20th century and which, over time, has become the museum that houses Salvador Miquel's tile collection.

It had to be set in the fire, recreating the flames that lived inside the ovens.

we illuminated the facade with red light and we added a smoke effect, which if we get nostalgic and look for references to the past, could help us remember that sky that was drawn in the city when the kilns were in operation and the smoke rose from their chimneys warning the citizens that they were on fire and doing a new ceramic firing.

Dance and fire merged in the show that could be seen at different times of the night.

And finally we were fascinated by the House of the Blind. This space where the sculptor Xavier Corberó set up his workshop and is currently known as the Corberó Space. The feeling was to enter a painting of impossible figures by Esher to transform it into a space where light and fire merge.

By day the Moon presided over the central square. At night, the light of the Moon and the LED light show contrasted with the red spotlights that painted the arches and reflected their light on ceilings and mirrors, creating the feeling that fire was traveling through the concrete corridors.

All this atmosphere was possible thanks to the lighting professionals and the fire and light artists who accompanied us on this dream night..
